Jobs & Pipelines

How open roles and hiring stages work in HireFlow

A job is an open role you're hiring for. It has its own:

  • Description
  • Pipeline (the stages candidates move through)
  • Labels and categories
  • Interview question bank
  • Recruiter instructions

A pipeline is the ordered set of stages a job's candidates move through (say, New → Screening → Interview → Offer → Hired), plus a rejection stage candidates can be moved to at any point.

Every organization has a global pipeline template. New jobs start from it, but each job's pipeline can be customized independently, and reverted back to the template later if it drifts too far. See Working the Pipeline for how stages, step labels, and automations attach to this.
